The Ward Orientation Clock, is like the award winning Day Clock however, it has several features which make it stand out. The Ward Orientation Clock has multiple slides and it has an analogue clock face slide as well as the 'Now it’s Monday morning' slide plus a customisable location screen which can be used to allow patients to know where they are.
On top of this, the Ward Orientation Clock also features slideshow sessions, which displays pictures that represent the different seasons. These slideshow sessions are completely customisable.
The Ward Orientation clock has a 27" screen, along with the Ward clock computer, and a wall mounting bracket.
The Ward Clock is available without a monitor should you wish to use your own screens. See the Ward Clock Module product listed on the site.
The Ward Orientation Clock has already been used by multiple NHS Trust Wards.
The Ward Clock was created by Designability based on their Dementia care research.

We have found that it actively contributes to orientating patients with dementia or delirium to time and place. On the first day the clock was installed it impacted on one of our demented ladies. She used to go to bed about 10:00 pm, wake about half past convinced that she had slept through the night. She would then cause gentle chaos throughout the rest of the night. The first night the clock was in use the staff heard her start to get out of bed, look at the clock, say "Oh it's night time" and went back to bed.
The clocks have also generated interest from relatives and carers. They will often ask if there are smaller versions of the clock available.
